alright i tried my hands again on oil pastels, so her it is!!!the lips took me a day to finish.i chose oil pastels because i'm not into smooth tone paintings.i love that mosaic like texture, cause it's raw and you can really see the colors that looks chaotic but creates beautiful blending at the same time.

so if there's a colored portrait of marilyn for sure there'll be xtina too!!!LOL

i find that vintage holywood/first color pictures an inspirations and the oil pastels can do the trick.

at first i did'nt know that i will also have an enjoyment doin the hair just like i did with the black and white portraits. but before i made this one i study again the definition of colors, the primary, secondary, complimentary etc...so that it will be easier for me to choose and blend..

and so i started with one marilyn and i want more!!!i think she will be my muse when it comes to oil pastels medium portraits.and i think i should sell this one so that's it, i hope you will enjoy this one. thanks in advance for the views, comments, and faves!!!i will truly appreciate it. it let me knows if i'm improving or not!!LOL i'll try to answer those who will ask me some questions.and i would like to know if you like my style on creating this type of portraiture.....ciao!!!
